A Word From God About Election 2012: www.GodsVote.com PLEASE SHARE.

God has given me a word regarding this and every upcoming election, and I need YOUR help! Read it below and then share www.GodsVote.com with EVERYONE to help spread the word!

Please help circulate this message from COAST to COAST that every Christian in the United States of America would read it. It is time for us to lay down our idols, ideas, thoughts and ways… and seek the MOST HIGH GOD for direction.

Your Vote Counts…this is God’s Country

As this 2012 Presidential election approaches, it can appear that there is not a candidate who is likely to rule from God’s perspective on every political topic. There seems to be much indecision among Christians as to how to vote. If you determine this to be the case, you may be inclined to simply not vote. However, you not only have a God-given right to vote, you have a God-given responsibility to vote. (Deut 16:18, Matt 22:21) God has a plan for the end times and who is in which office is part of that ultimate plan. (Dan 5:21)

As Christians, we should desire someone to lead our country from a Christian biblical perspective. (Exodus 18:21) Yet we can find ourselves in a situation where that option does not exist on the ballot. Consider this election: one candidate is a proponent for abortion and gay rights, and another is a Mormon. Mormonism also holds many beliefs that are contrary to Christianity.

We must remember that God used many kings and rulers to bring about His will, knowingly or unknowingly. Ps 75:6-7 says “For exaltation comes neither from the east nor from the west nor from the south. But God is the Judge: He puts down one, and exalts another.” And God uses His people who seek His face to unfold His plan on earth. (Prov 2:1-11)

Despite the many flaws of both good and bad Kings in the Old Testament, God used these rulers to accomplish His will. Take Pharaoh for example: he enslaved God’s people and God hardened his heart so that His wonders could be multiplied (Ex 11:9), yet Pharaoh later allowed them to leave and take their flocks and herds with them. (Ex 12:31-32)

In Jeremiah 29:4 we learn that it was God who caused his people to be carried away captive for 70 years, yet in the midst of it He reminded us that He knows the plans He has for us… to prosper us and not harm us… to give us a hope and a future. (Jer 29:11)

Consider that the Romans/Pharisees had to be in authority in order for Jesus to be crucified, without which we would not find redemption today.

Additionally, we never know what is going to happen in a candidate’s life… but God does. (Isa 46:10) Any candidate or ruler could be radically touched by God at any moment and completely change their message. (Prov 21:1)

What may or may not seem so good to us, may be necessary for His ultimate will to be done. We serve a Romans 8:28 God who turns all things to the good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. He sees the end from the beginning and knows what He is doing. (Isa 46:10, Jer 29:11)

Do we trust Him?

Our tendency is to rely on logic and reasoning to select a candidate. (Prov 3:5-6) We do need to investigate every candidate we have an option to vote for, and we must be conscious of the fact that there are often more than just Democrat or Republican candidates on the ballot. Logic and reasoning might say that a third-party candidate would never win, but it’s never about what we think. (Isa 55:8-9) It’s about obeying God. (John 14:15,23)

When we come to Christ we must adjust to a new culture… a Kingdom culture. (Col 1:13-17) We now submit first to the government of Jesus Christ, and a biblical perspective of all things, including our earthly government. (Isa 9:6-7) It is idolatry to put people, governments, our preferences or desires above the will of God. (Ex 20:3, 2 Kings 17:34-41) As we seek our options in the natural, we must also seek God to reveal His plan. (Col 1:16-20)

Let’s consider this from the very beginning… God created Man; God gave man dominion and authority over everything in the world; (Gen 1) Man gave his authority to Satan. (Gen 3) Jesus came and restored our rightful authority and dominion over this world. (Matt 28:18) Now satan tries everyday to deceive man, to take back the authority for himself. (Col 1:13, 2 Tim 2:26, 1 Jn 5:19) Plain and simple, life is a battle. Although it may feel like it, the devil is not battling with you. He’s battling against God. It’s good vs. evil. (Isa 14:13-14)

Where we come in is that God uses us to accomplish His will on this earth. (Est 4:12) And satan is working overtime to try and prevent it. (Col 1:13, 2 Tim 2:26, 1 Jn 5:19) God’s plan for every person on the face of the earth was for them to have a personal relationship with His Son Jesus Christ. (John 3:16) Through that personal relationship we would hear God’s voice to do what He wants us to do. (John10:27)

So what does this have to do with this election?

Well, it was man that created “parties” (You know… Democrat, Republican, etc.), not God. Unfortunately, too many people are raised to believe: “My family has always been Democrat.” or “My family has always been Republican” and they refuse to consider voting outside of that political party. Or they vote based on some other personal bias they have for or against a certain candidate. Or worse yet, too many people (Christians included), don’t vote.

We need to remember that GOD has a plan for our city, our state, our country… for our world. (Jer29:11) He has a plan for WHO He wants in WHAT office and WHEN in order to accomplish His will. (Dan5:21) As Christians, it is OUR responsibility to seek God and let Him show us how to vote. (Prov 3:5-6)

We should vote how God tells us to vote regardless of what our past beliefs are; regardless of what our family will think; regardless of what a past politician in the same party had done previously. (Prov 3:5-6) This is GOD’s country. (Ps 24:1) And we are God’s people. (John 1:12-13) It is GOD’s vote we need to cast so that GOD’s will can be done… on earth as it is in Heaven. (Matt 6:10)

Today you are being challenged to rethink this and every election. Remember that no one will be perfect & meet all of your criteria as the perfect candidate. Certain things will inevitably happen as we approach the end of the age, no matter who is in office. If your concern is about the war and terrorism, GOD is your protector. (Ps 121:5) If your concern is about health care or jobs, GOD is your provider. (Gen 22:14, 50:21) No matter what your concern, ultimately GOD knows the best solution to the problem. (Isa 55:8-9)

So why not ask Him who to vote for? He’ll be faithful to tell you the right answer. He may tell you to vote Democrat. He may tell you to vote Republican. Or He may tell you to vote third-party. Whether it makes sense to our logic and reasoning or not, we must obey God. (John 14:15,23) Don’t ask the opinions of Man. You’ll get confused for sure.

It’s not about us. It’s all about God. What He tells you may defy all logic and reasoning. But we must base our decision on obedience to the voice of God. Will we obey if He tells us something different from our preference, reasoning or logic? Obedience… It’s where the rubber hits the road.

It’s not about preference…
It’s not about common sense…
It’s about OBEDIENCE.

Or do we?

Very thought-provoking and definitely appropriate to use Scripture as the foundation. You reminded all of us that we either believe or don’t believe that God is still in control. If we choose to believe, then we know that whatever the outcome, God is not surprised, He causes or allowed it
    to take place.
